Candles and Soaps

I am teaching myself how to make soap and candles! It is very interesting. Soap in particular is a ancient art. I love the science aspect of making soap and the fact that I will know exactly what are in my body products.
Candle making is also a very old art. I'm not sure which came first I will have to look that up. I want to make candles to refill all of my glass candle containers. I figure it will safe money and also be small way for me to recycle.

CUTE THING FOR TODAY!!!

SAD THINGS FOR TODAY v_v

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is closing!
Though I saw it coming after Six Flags took them over! The food sucked and those awfull characters walking around ruined it for me and my friends. If it hadn't been for that we would have gone a hell of a lot more often! Oh yeah and then that poor child had her feet cut off on the Hell-evator. They changed its name but ... Six Flags changed a lot. Like turning a functioning theme park into a closed fair grounds.

My Brown Bear left for Basic Training yesterday!
He will be back but then he will be moving to where his specific training will be. I will miss him a lot. :(

Organic Raw Juice v_v

I bought some organic raw juice from whole foods a few hours ago. I've never had it before and it looked good. Boy, this stuff was bad. It smelled like vinegar after it exploded all over the car! And the yeast cultures they used to make it... fizzy were coagulated into a thick mat of stuff that looked like algae v_v

Anywho... I bought a couple of books to day at Joseph-Beth!. And an adorable employee named James talked to me for a while. Did I mention James was adorable? He had long had and was very well-spoken.

I bought "Tigana" by Guy Garvriel Kay. The cover looks like of steam punkish, but we will see.
And " The Master Book of Herbalism" by Paul Beyerl. I've been meaning to start a collection of herbalism books and I finally managed to get one :) I can't wait to start reading it to prepare for my garden!
I also got a magazine called "Starting From Seed" I read a little of it on the car ride home and it was really good.
