New favorite blog

I found a new favorite blog the other day, well it's more like a website. It's called "What the craft" and it is super fantastic!

The creator of the site, Lex, is adorable and very inventive, she is also a sewing wizard!

She has a sister site where she sells her creations, which is called SmarmyClothes.com

On What the Craft you will find sewing tips, tutorials, contests and various other nifty thingies! She even has some of the tutorials in video form :D I hope she adds more of those soon!

Google Plus Name Policy

So, another update and hopefully the last until the change the policy.

My husband emailed the Google Plus Urgent Help Center and then a little while later I am able to use my account again... at least for now, I don't want to hold my breath about it. This whole thing was incredibly silly! I hope that this doesn't happen to everyone who's last name is also a common noun, vowel, or adjective.... anything that would be in an elementary school dictionary. >.<

Oh well, later interwebers

google plus

Ok, so this is an update!

I sent them all of the info they requesting and then an hour or so later BOOM.
So now my account is suspended! Even though I did as they said and sent them the requested information, even though this is my real name, even though they said that I had until the 3rd of October to do all of this!

Cthulhu

I am going to make a super swell Cthulhu hoodie for my husband this weekend :D This shall be fun ^__^

I will have to up load pictures when I am finished.

Here is the Wiki for Mr. Cthulhu, if you don't know whom I am talking about :D

Google plus names policy

I don't understand why Google plus requires you to have your real name on your public profile. I could see them having your name privately but not broadcasted to the world D:

Today I log on to Google+ to be greeted by this.

Which pretty much says, give us your information or leave. It really sounded like a threat and had me wondering "What did I do?".

The funny part is that I am using my "real name" on G+! I wanted to eventually switch it to an alias, since I feel more at comfortable using the same internet names that I have been using for years.

I submitted an "appeal" and I also sent a picture that was a collage of like 8 different IDs and some mail and other crap that had my name on it! So I hope they enjoy that.
