I don't understand why Google plus requires you to have your real name on your public profile. I could see them having your name privately but not broadcasted to the world D:

Which pretty much says, give us your information or leave. It really sounded like a threat and had me wondering "What did I do?".Today I log on to Google+ to be greeted by this.
The funny part is that I am using my "real name" on G+! I wanted to eventually switch it to an alias, since I feel more at comfortable using the same internet names that I have been using for years.
I submitted an "appeal" and I also sent a picture that was a collage of like 8 different IDs and some mail and other crap that had my name on it! So I hope they enjoy that.
